Thoughts:
- I've chosen to use Wix to host my website. It's minimal, clean & easy to use and I feel confident moving forward with it.
- The main homepage is a stream of all my work from a variety of projects. I wanted to show my work in this way as all my work does synchronise well with eachother and it's the way I like to see other people's work. It's like a less formal portfolio of my best bits.
- I have some pages/ categories for specific projects that have really informed my work so far. I know this will grow after I graduate.
- I've also got live links to my instagram, pinterest and shop. I update these things the most so felt they were the only relevant links to add.
- I really like the simplicity of the About page. The photograph adds a nice personal touch and lets me put a face to my work. Overtime, I'll be able to add a list of clients & exhibitions to this page as well - It doesn't feel professional to do so right now as the list is only short.
- Overall I'm pleased with the appearance and context of my website. The layout allows my bold images space to breath and I feel I've definitely picked my best bits.
