SELF PORTRAIT
I wanted my business card to incorporate an image of myself as well as a piece of my work. I think this represents myself and my work quite well. The bold and neutral colours together definitely mirror my personality and my work. I think it's successful as it's simplistic, it pairs well with text for branding, however it's strong enough as a stand alone image.
I decided to pair the self portrait with some simple and clear text on one side of the card and use one of my strongest illustrations on the other. I think the simplicity of the page with my information is clear and precise, however the front image is an obvious 'Ruby Shelton' piece of work. Really happy with them.
