I've been in contact with Nice People magazine, a local magazine based in Leeds which promotes upcoming events and creative people in the area. They have opened a live submission for an all day exhibition of work which I have produced work for and been accepted to showcase my paintings. I think this is a really great opportunity for me as I'm hoping to stay in Leeds when graduating so local creative people will get to see my work.
Since submitting for this they have also said that their will be an opportunity to sell prints/ work at this event so I'm currently working on having products for this.
I'm also hoping that if this event showcases my work well, it could lead to creating work for the magazine freelance, or as a featured artist. I will follow this up after the event.
